Senior Care is an online service designed for those who want to provide their parents and loved ones with decent comfort and care, to help them in their daily lives, however, it is difficult to do it personally due to various life circumstances: remote living, an intensive work schedule, etc. Senior Care helps to meet the current needs of older people and solve emerging problems remotely through finding and procuring necessary goods and services by third-party contractors. The service is based on an operator service that accepts orders by phone or through the Senior Care Upp! 24/7. Besides, operators themselves ring up the service recipients with established regularity, inquiring about their well-being and wishes (wearable devices will be introduced in the future allowing quick response to changes in vitals).
The orders received are fulfilled by third-party providers from a constantly updated database, as well as through various e-commerce resources, the use of which can be difficult for older people. The range of available services includes the following:
• Housekeeping (washing, ironing, cooking, etc.);
• Household and other repairs (household appliances, plumbing, electrics, computer equipment, minor home repairs, etc.);
• Personal (personal care, medical, transportation and courier services, etc.).
The list of services is being regularly expanded and improved; the current catalogue is available through the application. Senior Care can also organize the procurement of other services not included in the current catalogue if relevant providers are available on the market.
Senior Care can help you pay utility bills and other recurring expenses. Goods and services ordered through Senior Care are paid for by the client online with bank cards attached; the service takes care of settlements with contractors and suppliers.
At the moment, Senior Care only serves recipients residing in Yerevan, Armenia (while the client can live anywhere). The coverage of recipients’ geography will expand, including other countries.
